Apple Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 lbs apples (Gala, Honeycrisp, Granny Smith mix)
- ¼ c sugar
- 1 c water
- salt
- ¼ t ground cinnamon
- 1 T lemon juice, more to taste
Instructions

Step 1
Peel, core, and chop apples.

Step 2
Combine apples, sugar, salt, and water. Bring to a simmer in pot over high heat. Stir occassionally.

Step 3
Once simmering, reduce to medium low, cover tightly with a lid. Cook for 18 minutes.

Step 4
Stir in lemon juice and cinnamon. Take off heat, then mash roughly.
