Ingredients

  • ~1 c broth or water
  • 1 cup dry instant couscous
  • salt, olive oil
  • Pinch of cumin, garlic powder, parsley, dill (optional)

To serve

Uses black nonstick pot for boiling and a medium skillet for toasting.

Couscous usually cooked at a 1:1 water ratio, but double check instructions on package to make sure.*

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Uses black nonstick pot and also a medium skillet. In pot, add water/broth*, a drizzle of oil, and salt to a boil.

  2. Step 2

    Toast the couscous in pan with ~1-2T olive oil until golden brown. Optional but great flavor.

  3. Step 3

    Add the couscous to the boiling water and immediately take off hut. Cover tightly and let sit for 10 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Uncover, fluff with a fork. Add optional seasonings.
