Creamy Beef And Shells
Ingredients
Meatballs
- 8oz medium pasta shells
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 lb 85%/93% ground beef
- 1 small sweet onion or half medium
- 2 garlic
- 1½ t Italian seasoning
- 2 T flour
- 2 c beef stock
- 1 15oz can tomato sauce
- ¾ c heavy cream
- 6oz extra sharp white cheddar
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Step 1
Dice onion. Shred/grate cheddar cheese. Boil and salt water, prepare pasta according to directions.

Heat oil in large skillet over medium high. Add beef, cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Take out beef once cooked, set aside.

In same skillet, add onion and cook until translucent. Add garlic and Italian seasoning, ~1min. Add flour until lightly browned, ~1min.

Gradually whisk in beef stock and tomato sauce. Bring to boil, then reduce to simmer. Stirring occasionaly, reduce until thickened, ~7min.

Stir in pasta, beef, and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in cheddar until melted.
