Ingredients

Base

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • ½ head cabbage, or 14oz coleslaw mix

Sauce

  • ⅓ c low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 T grated ginger or ginger paste
  • 1 t toasted sesame oil
  • 1 t rice vinegar (or ACV)
  • ½ t sugar
  • ½ T sriracha (optional)

To serve

Serve with rice. Scallions, sesame seeds, furikake, yum yum sauce, sriracha optional.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Shred cabbage. Whisk together sauce ingredients.

  2. Step 2

    In large skillet (larger cast iron), set heat to medium-high. Add oil, cook pork.

  3. Step 3

    Pour sauce into skillet and stir to coat pork.

  4. Step 4

    Add cabbage (or coleslaw mix). Toss often (tongs help) until cabbage is tender and pork cooked through, ~5 min.
