Mini Black Bean Turkey Burgers
Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1 15oz can black beans
- 3 green onions
- ½ T chili powder
- ½ t cumin
- ½ t garlic powder
- ⅛ t cayenne pepper
- ½ t salt
- 1 pkg ground turkey
- ⅓ c bread crumbs
To serve
Serve in pita pockets with avocado spread and slices of tomato.
Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375F. Drain the beans. Slice the green onions. Ready a baking sheet with aluminum foil and racks on top.

Step 2
Mash the beans slightly. Add seasonings, turkey, and bread crumbs. Create 10 patties.

Step 3
Bake for ~20-25 minutes. Note: they might not look dark brown, but sitll be cooked. Will still be vaguely pink. Open a patty to see inside to determine doneness.
