Salted Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Salted chocolate peanut butter cups

Ingredients

Oat base

  • ¾ c peanut butter
  • ⅓ c honey
  • 3 c old fashioned oats

Chocolate top

  • 5 oz dark chocolate, chopped or chips
  • 1 T coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Heat peanut butter and honey in a saucepan, on medium-low heat. Stir frequently, until warm and smooth, not hot.

  2. Step 2

    Gradually add oats, stir until combined.

  3. Step 3

    In a muffin pan, place silicone cups. Fill cups about ⅔rds with oat mix. Press in.

  4. Step 4

    Wash out saucepan. Placing on medium-low heat again, add the chocolate and coconut oil. Stir frequently until the chocolate is melted.

  5. Step 5

    Add ~1T chocolate to each oat cup. Crack some salt over the cups.

  6. Step 6

    Freeze at least 1 hr, preferrably overnight. Keep in freezer.
