Gravy

Ingredients

  • 4 T butter
  • 4 T flour
  • 2 c milk, room temperature if possible
  • salt and pepper

To serve

Serve with chicken fried steak.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Place butter in saucepan over medium heat. As butter starts melting, add flour. Whisk until butter fully melted.

  2. Step 2

    While whisking, pour milk in gradually until there are no lumps left.

  3. Step 3

    Heat to a boil, boil for 1 minute until desired cosistency. Whisk constantly. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
